A person-on-person robbery in Kitchener’s south end was likely targeted, Waterloo Regional Police say.

The robbery occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Doon Village Road, near Homer Watson Boulevard.

Police say a man was robbed by a man and woman, one of whom “was believed to brandish a firearm.”

The man and woman were only describe as likely being in their 20s.

Police believe everyone involved in the robbery knew each other before the altercation.
