The victim of a fatal head-on crash near Acton has been identified.
Wellington County OPP say Said Saleh was the 37-year-old Brampton man killed in Saturday morning’s crash on the Halton-Erin Townline in the Town of Erin.
Saleh was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle crash. His passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 20-year-old man from Markdale, was taken to hospital with what police described as life-altering injuries. As of Monday morning, he remained in serious condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police say they want to hear from any witnesses.
