Two people were forced to stay put at knifepoint as their apartment was robbed, Guelph Police say.
The robbery brought police to a building on Waverly Drive in the city’s north end around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police, two men with their faces covered had pushed their way into the apartment and brandished the knife.
After a number of items were taken, the pair left the area on foot.
The following morning, police tracked down a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man and placed them under arrest for robbery, assault with a weapon and other offences.
The robbery is believed to have been targeted.
