Two arrests in Guelph led police to search homes outside the city, where they found what they’re describing as a significant amount of cocaine.

Guelph Police say two people were arrested late Wednesday afternoon, while in a parking lot on Clair Road East.

In their possession, officers allegedly found nearly $6,000 worth of cocaine and more than $2,000 in cash.

On Thursday, police searched homes in Hamilton and London as well as two vehicles.

Those searches allegedly turned up about $9,000 more worth of cocaine, as well as cash, guns and marijuana.

A 33-year-old Hamilton man and a 23-year-old man with no fixed address face a variety of charges relating to drugs, weapons and breaching court orders.
