Two teenage girls are facing charges after an alleged vandalism spree at a business in Fergus.

Wellington County OPP say they were notified Tuesday afternoon about items being damaged inside a building on Gartshore Street in Fergus.

An employee of the business told police that they saw somebody use a knife to cut open a bag of resin.

Police found that 48 bags of resin had been damaged, while two fire extinguishers had also been set off inside the buiding.

Total damage was estimated at $50,000.

Two 14-year-old girls from Fergus were arrested on charges of mischief and breaking and entering.
