A Guelph man faces a number of charges in connection with a home invasion that occurred more than four years ago.

On March 5, 2011, four men wearing disguises made their way into a home on Cole Road.

They allegedly assaulted the three people inside and forced them to the ground, then left the home with cash, electric instruments and a computer.

Guelph Police say they recently received new information about the incident, leading them to arrest a 29-year-old man.

He faces charges including three counts of robbery, and one count apiece of forcible confinement, theft, wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime, and breaking and entering.

Police say they want to hear from anyone with information about the home invasion.
