The case of a Grand River Transit bus driver charged in connection with a crash at a roundabout that injured a Kitchener student has been put over until 2012.
The driver, 39-year-old Rafael Quintanilla of Hamilton, has been charged with careless driving in connection with the crash.
It happened at the roundabout at Block Line Road and Homer Watson Boulevard on Oct. 7, seriously injuring a 16-year-old pedestrian, Cassi Lam.
Lawyers for the Lam family have named the bus driver, the City of Kitchener, Grand River Transit and the Region of Waterloo in a lawsuit.
There were no members of the Lam family at the courthouse.
A representative for Quintanilla was in court Monday and the case will continue on January 23.
