A Kincardine resident has been charged in connection with alleged sexual assaults that took place in the early 1980s.
William Andrew Fraser, 61, is charged with three counts of indecent assault as per the Criminal Code of the era.
He was arrested last week, Huron County OPP say, and will next appear in court in August.
According to police, Fraser was a teacher at the former J.A.D. McCurdy Public School in Centralia – south of Exeter – until 1987.
He would later teacher at Byron Somerset Public School in London.
His alleged victim in all three offences was a female student at J.A.D. McCurdy.
