Five people are facing charges in connection with the robbery of a young man in downtown Guelph last month.

Guelph Police say the robbery occurred Dec. 11 outside the Wyndham Street entrance to the Quebec Street Mall.

Monday, police made five arrests in connection with the case.

Charged with robbery are a 20-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, a 17-year-old girl and two 17-year-old boys, all from Guelph.

According to police, there may be multiple witnesses to the incident who have yet to speak to investigators.
