An industrial fire in Kitchener’s south end is the fourth "peculiar" fire of its kind in the last two weeks, according to Kitchener firefighters.
Crews were called to Tri-City Ready Mix on Cress Lane after roofing material caught fire, but officials say no hot roofing materials were used.
Workers were not on site at the time of the fire.
Police are now waiting on security video footage to determine whether the fire is suspicious.
According to officials, the Cress Lane fire is the fourth with no known cause. In each one of the fires, most of the possibilities have been ruled out.
Damage is estimated at $30,000 dollar
