More than two dozen firefighters battled flames in a cornfield south of St. Clements on Sunday.
The fire at the Weimar Line property was reported around 1 p.m., and sent black smoke into the sky that could be seen in Wellesley and beyond.
At its peak, the fire consumed 50 acres of cornfield.
Information on the cause of the fire was not available.
