A man found lying on the ground with a serious head injury in Brantford later died in hospital.
Brantford Police say the 47-year-old man was found on Terrace Hill Street around 2:30 a.m. Monday, with a bicycle nearby.
Investigators believe he received the head injury by falling off his bike while riding on the sidewalk along Terrace Hill, between Main and West streets.
He was identified Tuesday as Michael John Campeau.
Anyone who witnessed the man falling from his bicycle or has other information that could help investigators is asked to call police at 519-756-0113 ext. 2212.
