Most of southern Ontario including Waterloo Region and Wellington County
will be under the grip of bitter cold weather, overnight Sunday and into Monday morning. 

Environment Canada issued an alert saying that winds combined with cold temperatures will give us wind chill values in the minus 30s.

Temperatures will feel bitterly cold Sunday night as they reach minus 26, with the wind chill minus 35.

The weather agency is warning that frostbite and hypothermia can occur within minutes, of skin exposure, if you’re not properly protected.

The alert has also been issued for Brant, Grey-Bruce, Huron-Perth, Oxford.
