THAMES CENTRE, Ont. - A 26-year-old man faces impaired driving charges following an investigation into a deadly crash northeast of London, Ont.

Maria Van Massenhoven, 64, was killed when her van collided with a pickup truck in Thames Centre on June 10.

Police say the driver of the truck and a 23-year-old passenger were treated at hospital after the crash and released.

Jeffrey Demeester of Langton, Ont., is charged with impaired operation of a vehicle causing death, driving with a blood-alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams causing death, and criminal negligence causing death.
