Two men were arrested in Waterloo following an investigation that began in the Spring by the guns and gangs unit.
The Special Response Unit of Waterloo Regional police took two men into custody on Lester Street in Waterloo as part of a lengthy firearm and drug investigation. Their arrests lead to a search warrant being executed at a Guelph residence in Kitchener. The search of that residence lead to the seizure of $78,000 worth of drugs and $8,500 in Canadian currency.
A 43-year-old Guelph man and a 35-year-old Waterloo man are facing several drug-related charges.
