A drug bust in southwest Kitchener led to the seizure of $120,000 worth of meth and ecstasy, Waterloo Regional Police say.

The raid took place Wednesday, at a home on Activa Avenue near David Bergey Drive, and involved police from both Waterloo Region and Stratford.

According to police, 769 grams of methamphetamine and 338 grams of ecstasy were seized from the home, along with $5000 in cash.

Two men, both Kitchener residents, face charges relating to drug trafficking.

Police say the raid was part of an ongoing investigation into the crystal meth trade in Waterloo Region and the Stratford area.
