Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after an incident in rural Wellesley Township.
According to police, a bystander noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Chalmers Forrest Road and Buehler Line, west of Wallenstein and northeast of Millbank, around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The vehicle, described an older-model red Ford pickup truck with a long bed, was seen leaving a cornfield.
Its driver may have pointed a gun at the bystander, police say.
A search of the area failed to find the truck.
