One person is dead following a late-night crash in Perth County.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday, OPP officers were dispatched to Perth Road 135, north of Line 49 – north of Stratford near the community of Rostock – in response to a crash.
Upon investigation, they found that a Volkswagen Beetle had hit a cut-out section of roadway while passing through a construction zone.
Forty-six-year-old Zorra Township resident Timothy King, who was the lone person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Perth Road 135 reopened around 5 a.m. Thursday.
