Domestic assault charges laid after incident on the 401

On September 19^th, police received a 911 call from a driver on Highway 401, near Brighton.

Police say a married couple were involved in an argument, when the wife threw a coffee at her husband while he was driving.

A 38-year-old Caledon area woman was arrested for domestic assault.

She is scheduled to appear in court in October.

Her name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
