Fire broke out in a piece of machinery at a farm east of Ayr on Saturday.
It was around 7:30 p.m. when firefighters were called to the farm on Beke Road in North Dumfries for a hay fire.
Firefighters believe that something inside a baler ignited the hay. They were able to stop the fire from spreading past the baler.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
No injuries were reported.
