Flames broke out shortly after midnight Thursday at a Cambridge business.
Fire crews were called to Hoffman Engineering on Pinebush Road, between Balmoral Road and Fleming Drive, and remained on scene for several hours until the fire was extinguished.
Nobody was inside the building when firefighters arrived, and the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
Early estimates suggest the level of damage could be between $150,000 and $200,000.
