A 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Waterloo.
The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. Monday as she was cycling along University Avenue, near the University of Waterloo.
It’s not clear what led to the crash, but the woman was taken into an ambulance and diagnosed with a broken leg.
Police say charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle that hit the cyclist, a 31-year-old woman.
