It’s going to be a slow drive – and in some cases a downright impossible one – in one pocket of Waterloo this week due to road work.
At 6 p.m. Friday, Ira Needles Boulevard will close between University Avenue and Erb Street.
Two hours later, the closure will extend to encompass the roundabout at Ira Needles and Erb.
The roundabout is expected to reopen at midnight, with the rest of the street reopening by 8 a.m. Saturday.
More closures and delays are possible in the area through the weekend as crews continue their work.
