Acting on complaints from neighbours, Waterloo Regional Police entered a downtown Kitchener home early Saturday morning in search of drugs.

Around 2 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at 56 Weber Street West, near Young Street.

Police say it was the culmination of a month-long investigation that began when neighbours told them of suspicious activity observed at the apartment building.

A 55-year-old man was arrested in connection with the raid.

He faces charges relating to methamphetamine trafficking.
