A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries Friday night after colliding with a pickup truck.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to the intersection of Brooklyne and Glen roads, not far from the Delta intersection, at 10:00 p.m.
According to police, the teen was riding along Brooklyne on a skateboard and turning left onto Glen when he crashed into the side of the truck.
He was first taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital before being transferred to Hamilton General Hospital.
