A minivan hit a retaining wall and a building on opposite sides of King Street Monday morning.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of King and Green streets in Kitchener.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, a vehicle hit a retaining wall on one side of King Street, then crossed over the road and hit a business on the other side of the street.

Its driver and passenger both received minor injuries.

The driver, a 27-year-old man, was later charged with careless driving.
