A car caused significant damage to a hydro pole during a collision in Cambridge’s south end Sunday evening.

The crash brought emergency crews to Cheese Factory Road around 6 p.m.

The front of the car had hit the hydro pole, partially severing it and causing damage to the car as well. The road was closed until the cracked pole could be fixed.

None of the three people in the car were injured.

Police are investigating the crash, and say alcohol is not considered a factor.
