A Cambridge firefighter is facing a charge of careless driving in connection to an early morning crash on Hespeler Road.
Waterloo Regional Police say a City of Cambridge fire truck struck an SUV near the 401 ramp.
The force of the collision pushed the SUV into a traffic pole.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No firefighters were hurt.
Police have charged a 53-year-old Cambridge firefighter with careless driving.
