Waterloo Region now has a voice at the provincial cabinet table.
Cambridge MPP Kathryn McGarry has been added to the cabinet as Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry.
She is one of nine new ministers announced Monday.

Waterloo Region has been shut out of the provincial cabinet since 2014, when then-Kitchener Centre MPP John Milloy left the legislature.
McGarry, a former nurse, was first elected later that year.
