Bruce County is again trying to halt wind development within its boundaries.
In a unanimous decision, the County Planning and Development Committee has removed wind energy from its official plan.
David Inglis, who is mayor of Brockton and the committee chairman, says it reaffirms Bruce County's position as an unwilling wind turbine host.
Inglis concedes there is not much the county can do if a wind developer wants construct a wind farm in the region, saying it's "somewhat handcuffed" by the Green Energy Act.
