Police in Brantford say two teenagers have been charged with breaking and entering after an incident at a Maplecrest Lane home.
According to police, a Maplecrest Lane resident returned home Thursday morning to find two youths inside. Once they saw the homeowner, the two ran out of the building.
After police investigation, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested and charged with break and enter. The two boys were held in custody pending a court appearance Friday.
Police say they continue to investigate whether Thursday's incident is connected to other recent break-ins in the area of Memorial Drive and Fairview Drive.
