A Brantford resident faces a number of charges relating to child pornography.
Brantford Police say their investigating began April 12, when they were contacted about alleged child porn images seen on a camera.
Investigators worked to identify the child allegedly in the photos, and contacted their family to ensure everything was OK.
They also determined the identity of the person alleged to have taken the photos – a 28-year-old man who police say knew the child in question.
The man was arrested later that day, after allegedly attempting to evade police, and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Eight days later, he was charged with making, possessing and accessing child pornography, as well as making child pornography available.
