The body found in the Grand River near Cayuga has been identified as that of a missing Cambridge man.
Haldimand County OPP reported that a group of hunters found the body in the river, between York and Cayuga, last month.
Wednesday, police announced that the body had been identified as that of Thomas Williams a 67-year-old from Cambridge who was last seen in October walking near his home.
Police say his death has been determined to be accidental, and foul play is not suspected.
