Officials with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency they do not have plans to widen avian flu quarantine zones.

That announcement came Sunday, on the heels of ca presumptive positive test for H5 avian flu at a third farm in Oxford County.

Farms in the Embro and Bright areas had previously been the subjects of positive tests, prompting the CFIA to place all farms within 10 kilometres of either site under quarantine.

The third farm sits within the second quarantine zone – which extends into some portions of Waterloo Region, primarily west of New Dundee.
