Want a chance to meet Justin Bieber’s family, and possibly Stratford’s biggest pop star himself?

That opportunity can be yours – as long as you’re willing to do it this Sunday, at the Bowmanville Zoo, for $295 per person.

The zoo’s website is advertising an event for Aug. 28 called BFF Day, or Bieber Family Fun Day.

On Wednesday, the website claimed Bieber’s father and other specific members of the Bieber family would be present. Later in the day, the names were removed, with the site touting instead that “the Bieber family” would be in attendance.

Whether Justin would be at the event was never specified, although the website did say that “big celebrities” could show up.

According to the website, money raised from the event will be used to help fund the care of the animals as they are moved away from the zoo later this year.

The zoo is expected to close later this year. Its owner is facing animal cruelty charges, and says far fewer people have been coming to the zoo since video surfaced that appeared to show him hitting a tiger with a whip during a training session.

Zoo officials have claimed the allegations made by People for the Ethical Treatment of Allegations are not true.

Last month, Bieber received a notice of violation from the City of Toronto over reports he appeared with lions from the zoo at two events in the city. Exotic animals like lions are banned in Toronto.
