After more than 100 years in business, a Canadian jewellery store is closing its doors.

Ben Moss Jewellers will shut down all of its 54 locations across the country, including ones at Cambridge Centre, Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, and Fairview Park in Kitchener.

In May the company announced it would restructure operations in an attempt to be more competitive in the market.

Liquidation sales had already begun at the Cambridge Centre and Waterloo locations, as they were considered to be underperforming.

The Winnipeg-based company has been Canadian owned and operated since 1910.

In a letter issued to customers, the company stated that any lifetime warranties are considered null and will not be honoured.

There is no word on when the doors will close for good.
