One person remains in critical condition following a crash in Brant County.

OPP say they were notified of the crash around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Upon arriving at Pleasant Ridge Road and Ellis Avenue – south of the Brantford Municipal Airport, near the community of Mount Pleasant – police found five people injured as the result of a two-vehicle collision.

One female passenger was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital, police say, while three people were taken to Brantford General Hospital and one to a hospital in Simcoe.

According to police, one female passenger remains in critical condition while the other four people have non-life-threatening injuries.

Details on who was in which vehicle and what led to the crash were not available.
