‘Tis the season for giving and this year there are plenty of places to help your community.

Some of them are a little unusual.

Paramedics in Waterloo and Cambridge teamed up on Saturday to stuff ambulances with donations for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

At last count they collected 2,300 meals.

On Sunday Waterloo Regional Police officers stuffed a cruiser with donations for the Knights of Columbus’ New Toys for Needy Kids campaign.

Meanwhile the Stuff-A-Bus campaign has come to a close after another successful year.

Over 12,500 pounds of non-perishable food and nearly $15,000 has been collected for the Food Bank of Waterloo and the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank.

The Stuff-A-Bus campaign is a yearly fundraiser sponsored by CTV, KFUN and Virgin Radio.
