A young boy was pronounced dead Thursday evening after falling out of a tractor bucket at a farm property northwest of Flesherton.
Grey County OPP say they were notified of the incident shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Officers who responded to the home on East Back Line near the community of Holland Centre learned that the boy had been riding with several of his siblings.
The machine was being driven by a 13-year-old sibling, and towing another piece of farm equipment.
After a five-year-old fell from the tractor, police say, he was hit by the equipment.
The boy was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as five-year-old Marcus Dekker of Chatsworth Township.
