A 14-year-old Kitchener girl was allegedly forced into the sex trade.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, the teen was taken to two Kitchener hotels by a group of people that were trafficking her, including by advertising sexual services online.
Four people were arrested last week in connection with the case.
Three Waterloo Region residents – a 24-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man – and a 26-year-old Toronto man are facing charges including human trafficking, procurement, receiving a material benefit from sexual services, advertising sexual services and conspiracy to commit a crime.
