A multi-vehicle collision on the Conestoga Parkway in Kitchener sent four people to hospital.

The crash was reportedly to police shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, between Frederick and Victoria streets.

It left a dark blue pickup truck on its side, with its driver trapped inside.

After being freed by emergency responders, the driver was taken to hospital – as were three people from the other two vehicles.

According to the OPP, all four suffered minor injuries.

Two northbound lanes of the highway were closed due to the amount of debris caused by the crash, with traffic being diverted into the collector lanes.

One driver was charged with careless driving.
