Police are searching for suspects after two convenience store robberies in separate parts of Kitchener were reported Monday night.

The first robbery occurred around 9:40 p.m., at a store on Ahrens Street.

Waterloo Regional Police say two men entered the store and demanded money, as one brandished a gun.

Some cash was turned over, and the pair left the area on foot.

Both men were wearing black clothing and black masks, and stood about 5'10" tall.

A few minutes later, a lone man allegedly robbed the Little Short Stop on Country Hill Drive.

According to police, the man demanded money and cigarettes, and was last seen running from the store.

He is described as white, 5’6” tall and about 25 years old, and was seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black toque.

Police say they want to hear from anyone with information about either incident.
